Maesn's funding round: 2.3 million euro, and an investor without a fund cycle
Maesn has closed a round of 2.3 million euro. The new investor is get.de, a company builder rather than a fund, and the three returning backers stay on. This is what the round pays for, and what it does not change.

What the round is, and who is in it
Maesn closed a funding round of 2.3 million euro. The announcement was made in Düsseldorf on 4 November 2025. One investor is new, the other three have been on the cap table before and stayed.
The company builds one interface to the systems its customers already run. Software teams connect once and reach ERP, accounting and payroll systems instead of building and maintaining a separate integration per vendor. That is the thing the round is meant to widen, and the current state of it is the directory of connected systems.
A company builder rather than a fund, without a three to five year cycle to exit into.
Early-stage fund for developer-focused infrastructure and API-driven companies.
Development bank of North Rhine-Westphalia, backing high-growth technology ventures.
Founders and operators who have scaled companies themselves.
Teams that already run on this connection include HubSpot, Tipalti, Findity, Hero and clockin, reaching systems such as DATEV, Sage and Exact Online through it. What that looks like on one side of it is written up in the HubSpot case study.

An investor that does not run on a fund cycle
A venture fund raises capital for a fixed period and has to give it back, which puts a three to five year horizon on every position it holds. That horizon is not a preference, it is the structure. get.de invests as a company builder instead, so the exit date is not a given that the roadmap has to be arranged around.
Robin Tschöpe, Managing Partner at get.de, on why they came in:
Maesn is a software solution we as entrepreneurs have searched for many times ourselves. With its abstracted data model and API-first approach, ERP systems and business software such as Sage, DATEV or Visma eAccounting can be integrated easily. Especially B2B SaaS companies that need to transfer data into their customers’ systems benefit from Maesn. Instead of integrating many systems individually, they use the Maesn API, which handles the integration for them. We are excited to actively support Maesn in their growth.
The three returning investors bring different things. Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company backs developer-focused infrastructure and API-driven companies at an early stage.
NRW.BANK is the development bank of North Rhine-Westphalia and reports a funding volume of around 6.9 billion euro for the first half of 2025. The private investors are founders and operators who have scaled companies themselves.

What the money pays for
Three things, and none of them changes the interface. More ERP, accounting and payroll systems join the catalogue. The partner network of implementation and integration service providers grows. And the teams that carry it, engineering and customer success, get bigger.
Maesn was founded in 2022 to make financial and business software interoperable through one interface, and that has not moved. A round funds reach and speed; it does not change what a customer integrates against, and nothing in the API changes because of a financing event.
Use of funds and the founding year from the same announcement. Which systems arrive next is not part of it, and the connected set is listed per system rather than promised here.
